STAN DEWEY
Director
Stan matriculated at Jeppe Boys High School in Johannesburg and went on to obtain BA and LLB degrees from Rhodes University. Whilst doing military service he studied for and received an LLM degree from Unisa focusing on restraints of trade.
Stan completed his articles with attorney Garry Hertzberg (at the firm Hertzberg Margolis).
Stan is an experienced litigation attorney having handled numerous matters in the broader commercial sphere including enforcing and opposing restraints of trade, Anton Piller applications, all aspects of labour litigation, liquidations, insolvency enquiries and contractual disputes.
Stan is married with three children. In his free time he enjoys distance running, classic cars and collecting art, antiques, French wine and jazz music on vinyl records.
HELEN MCLEAN
Associate
Helen has been involved in the legal field for many years, and although an admitted attorney, focuses her attention on the administration and management of our practice.
Due to her extensive experience and exposure to active legal practice, Helen is conversant with the ins and outs of legal practice and constitutes the backbone of our practice.
Helen is an animal lover and has a particular passion for Great Danes. She is very involved in animal rescue and at any one time has a few charitable projects on the go.
